Life Support I-90 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening emergency response along the Interstate 90 Snoqualmie Pass corridor and throughout upper Kittitas County. Founded and led by Cheri Marusa, the organization grew out of a hard truth she saw firsthand. The rugged mountain corridor is traveled by millions of commuters, freight haulers, and vacationers each year, yet the volunteer first responders who serve it have long faced serious gaps in equipment, funding, and training.
For more than two decades, support of and contributions to Life Support I-90 has helped close those gaps and save lives. Their contributions have funded:
Every dollar raised at the tournament flows directly into this work. As the organization puts it, the life saved could be your own — and for the families who travel Snoqualmie Pass every day, that mission is deeply personal. You can learn more about Cheri and the work that her team does to carry out this mission at LifeSupportI90.org.
As a Seattle personal injury firm, Davis Law Group has spent decades representing people whose lives were upended by serious crashes. High-speed and truck accidents are commonplace on the I-90 corridor, and serious injuries and fatalities are far too often. We know what happens in the minutes after a collision, and we know how much the outcome depends on how quickly trained responders can reach the scene.
When the firm learned about Cheri Marusa’s mission, the connection was immediate. Supporting the people who arrive first — the volunteer EMTs, firefighters, and rescue crews — is a natural extension of the advocacy our team brings to every client. Hosting this tournament lets us put resources behind prevention and rapid response, not just recovery after the fact. It reflects our belief that every life on the road matters, and that a strong community is built by the people willing to show up for one another.
This year the tournament heads to one of Washington’s premier mountain destinations: the Rope Rider course at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Washington. Famed for its immaculate resort conditions, crisp mountain air, and scenic views, Rope Rider offers a beautifully balanced layout. Its tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkers, and natural ponds give golfers of every skill level a challenging but rewarding “risk versus reward” experience. After a long day of golf and fundraising, our evening dinner banquet will be hosted in the rustic elegance of Swiftwater Cellars on-site.
