Motorcycle Accidents

The victim of a motorcycle accident caused by a drunk driver has retained Davis Law Group Car Accident and Personal Injury Lawyers, an award-winning team of motorcycle accident lawyers in Seattle, to represent him in possible legal action related to the May 2018 collision.

The accident took place on South Hosmer Street near South 90th Street in Tacoma, Washington.  According to the police report, a 2006 Ford Mustang was eastbound on South 90th Street and the 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling on southbound on South Hosmer Street.  The mustang failed to stop at a stop sign before making a left turn onto Hosmer.  The motorcycle attempted to avoid the collision but struck the front of the car.  The collision caused the rider to be ejected and thrown over the roof of the car.  The rider landed on the passenger side of the car and sustained multiple serious fractures and lacerations.

The injured motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital emergency room.  He suffered an open ankle fracture; right leg fracture; broken left arm; and a severed right arm.  He required extensive medical treatment which included at least five surgeries.  He spent weeks in Harborview Medical Center and a rehabilitation facility.  He was unable to walk for more than four months.

The driver of the car was placed under arrest for vehicular assault and was later found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
