Scott T. Ugelstad – Attorney at Law

Scott T. Ugelstad joined Davis Law Group in 2025 with a broad background in personal injury litigation. His experience as a prosecutor, insurance defense attorney, and plaintiff’s trial lawyer gives him a unique perspective in advocating for injured clients. Scott is committed to securing justice for accident victims and leverages his knowledge of insurance tactics to achieve the best possible results.

Background & Personal Interests

A Washington native, Scott earned his undergraduate degree from Washington State University before obtaining his law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the Idaho Law Review and worked for the Latah County Prosecutor’s Office.

As a prosecutor, Scott gained valuable courtroom experience before transitioning to insurance defense. He quickly realized that his passion lay in advocating for the injured rather than defending insurance companies. He has dedicated the rest of his career to fighting for injured victims. Before joining Davis Law Group, Scott worked as a trial attorney at a personal injury firm, handling cases involving catastrophic injuries, bad faith insurance practices, and corporate negligence including rideshare.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys golfing, traveling, scuba diving, and long-distance cycling. He is also a dedicated Washington State University fan.
