TALK RADIO: Chris Davis Discusses Seattle Dog Bite Law With KVI's John Carlson Following Recent Pit Bull Mauling

NOTE: Discussion of the legal issues begins 3 minutes and 30 seconds into the broadcast.  Fast forward to 3:30 to skip to the legal portion of the interview.

On July 12, 2013, KVI 570 Talk Radio's John Carlson interviews Seattle Dog Bite Lawyer Chris Davis following two serious pit bull attacks in Seattle in the same week.

Specifically they discuss the case of a 66-year-old White Center Man who had to fight for his life following a serious attack by three dogs at the same time.  Two pit bulls and a bull mastiff, viciously attacked the man on all parts of his body.  He suffered disfiguring injuries to his face.  The man, who was a Vietnam vent, pulled out his pocket knife to defend himself.  The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center, where he was listed in satisfactory condition.  One of the dogs was euthanized following the attack.  The two other dogs are being evaluated to see if they have rabies before authorities decide whether or not they will be returned to their owner.  The Regional Animal Services of King County will determine if the dogs were properly licensed and vaccinated.
