KOMO4 - 9-10-10 - The family of Kenneth Bock, who died after a fatal dog bite, is suing Konrad Haskins, the dog's owner, for wrongful death. A Redbone Coonhound owned by Haskins had a well known history of biting people. Bock died 10 days after the bite due to a bacterium that led to multiple organ failure and tissue necrosis. Bock died a painful death essentially rotting to death. According to state law a dog's owner can be held civilly responsible if his or her dog bites someone and the owner knew the dog was potentially dangerous.
