TV NEWS: John Przychodzen Kirkland Fatal Bicycle Accident

KOMO4  10-14-11 - Seattle attorney Chris Davis was recently featured on KOMO 4 News to discuss a fatal bicycle accident in Kirkland that killed John Przychodzen, an avid bicyclist who was struck by a vehicle while legally riding his bike.

There is a great deal of controversy surrounding this particular bicycle collision because the only punishment the driver received was a $42 ticket, while many believed he should have been charged with vehicular homicide.

Davis Law Group represents the Przychodzen family as they pursue a wrongful death claim against the at-fault driver and his insurance company. In the video, Joe Przychodzen - brother of the victim - also shares his thoughts about the ongoing civil lawsuit against the driver.

Full transcription of the interview:

Joe Przychodzen: Once we know the truth, it'll give us some closure and we can move on with our lives. I think he got a $42 ticket. We are extremely disappointed.

My brother is dead, he's not coming back. And if you kill someone, you need to face the consequences for that.

Chris Davis: Most people know that one can easily erase cell phone texting activity, or phone activity, manually.

Joe Przychodzen: If it's a mistake, I'm fine with that. You know, I really just want to know what happened that day.
