The semi truck accident lawyers at Davis Law Group, P.S. have filed a civil lawsuit in the Superior Court of Snohomish County (19 2 03896 31) for Washington against Haney Truck Line, LLC, a driver employed by them, and Wilson Logistics PNW, Inc. for an accident that took place in Lynnwood, Washington on June 22, 2016.

On that day in June the truck driver was operating a 1999 Kenwood tractor trailer registered to Haney Truck Line which was traveling westbound on Alderwood Mall Parkway at the intersection of Alderwood Mall Parkway and Poplar.

At the same time the plaintiff was driving a 2015 Honda Crosstour traveling eastbound on the I-5 off ramp near the same intersection.  When the traffic light illuminated the green turn arrow, the plaintiff proceeded to make a left-hand turn from the I-5 off-ramp onto northbound Poplar Way.

As she was completing her turn, the semi suddenly and without warning made a wide right turn from Alderwood Mall Parkway onto northbound Poplar Way, crossing into Honda’s lane of travel.  The semi-truck struck the rear passenger side of the Honda causing more than $9,000 in damage.

The plaintiff suffered injuries in the crash which resulted in confusion, cognitive issues, back pain, leg weakness, and PTSD.    The plaintiff was injured, suffered, and continues to suffer, physical disability and pain, emotional trauma, medical expenses, and other damages.

The lawsuit claims that the defendants acted negligently and ultimately caused the accident.
