Dear Mischelle,

I want to express my thanks for being chosen as  the first Davis Law Group School Supplies winner. I was quite surprised, and very pleased! Please know that the supplies will be very much appreciated by both myself, and the 26 second graders that I have the good fortune to work with each day.

The program that you and your law firm have created is certainly generous… But it also reflects that the community cares about schools, and wants kids to succeed. This is the big lesson for my students. They are learning that people outside the school walls believe in them. In the bigger picture, it teaches them that, as they become adults, they too can impact young people in a positive way… It’s not just schools that help out learning.

Again, thank you so very much for the gift. I will be using it to enhance our classroom, and I want you to know that it truly helps the kids in our neighborhood. Please extend my thanks to all the staff at your firm. They are much appreciated!

With sincere thanks, and best wishes…

Dano Beal, Lafayette Elementary
