Wenatchee, Washington
Known as the “Apple Capital of the World,” Wenatchee is also sometimes referred to as the "Buckle of the Power Belt of the Great Northwest.” The area has a ton of orchards and produces many of the apples that we eat from Washington. Wenatchee also has a series of hydroelectric dams on the Columbia River. With a population of about 33,000 people, Wenatchee is one of the favorite spots for outdoors lovers in Washington.
Wenatchee and its surrounding areas are great if you love to water ski the Columbia River, ski Mission Ridge, whitewater raft the Wenatchee River and mountain bike Sage Hills. There’s also golf for those interested. Wenatchee is great if you are a resident raising a family, a business professional commuting to work, or a retiree.
