Kindergarten Teacher at White Center Heights Elementary School Receives $100 Gift Card

Davis Law Group, P.S., a Seattle-based personal injury law firm, in partnership with OfficeMax, is pleased to announce that Michelle Crane is this week’s recipient of the Davis Law Group School Supplies Gift Program. Ms. Crane is a kindergarten teacher at White Center Heights Elementary School in Seattle.

At White Center Heights Elementary, Ms. Crane teaches an English Language Learners (ELL) class of 21 young students, which requires her to explore innovative teaching methods into her classroom.

Ms. Crane was nominated for this award by her teacher’s aide, Jill Finke, who describes her as motivated educator who devotes her time and financial resources to making sure her students have an opportunity to grow.

In addition to purchasing some basic school supplies for her class, Ms. Crane will use the gift card for class projects and small snacks for the students – things that she usually spends hundreds of dollars of her own on throughout the school year.

Seattle personal injury attorney Chris Davis and his wife started a program to help public school teachers get extra classroom supplies without having to spend their own money.  The Davis Law Group School Supplies Gift Program gives a $100 OfficeMax gift card each week to a deserving Washington State Public school teacher and his/her class. Anyone can nominate a teacher for this program, including teachers, students, parents and administrators.
