Accident Report: SR 410 Car Accident Near SR 167
GN was driving a Honda Civic. He slammed his vehicle into DO’s 1999 Ford pickup, which in turn slammed into KC’s 2002 Ford F150. The necessary repairs to KC’s vehicle totaled more than $12,600. It should also be noted that impacts involved in these collisions were so substantial, that KC’s vehicle sustained significant frame damage.
Washington law provides that the following driver has the duty to avoid a collision with the driver in front. KC did nothing to contribute to the cause of the crash and could do nothing to avoid the collision. GN was negligent when he slammed into the back of DO’s vehicle, which in turned slammed into the back of KC’s car.
KC is 34 years-old. She lives with her fiancé and children in Bonney Lake, Washington. KC works for T-Mobile. She also operates her own business out of her home as an Independent Mary Kay Consultant. In her spare time, KC enjoys working in her yard, home improvement projects for herself and friends, playing baseball with her son and camping with her family. Due to her injuries KC is unable to maintain her previous activity level.
KC sustained the following injuries in this accident:
1) Whiplash, status post motor vehicle accident.
2) LT Paralumbar spasm
3) Bilateral parathoracic / parascauplar pain and spasm.
KC tried to negotiate a fair and reasonable settlement with The Hartford Insurance after her accident. The Hartford Insurance was the insurance provider for GN and his vehicle. After failing to reach a satisfactory result with the claims adjustors, KC hired attorney Chris Davis and the Davis Law Group to manage her car accident claim and settlement negotiations.
