Complexities of Wrongful Death Case
The case required us to bring aboard several experts to assist in the investigation of the case, which was extremely complex and required a great deal of patience from the surviving family members.
The insurance company refused to make a reasonable settlement offer to the family, which forced us to file a lawsuit against multiple parties involved. A jury trial was scheduled, but the defendant insurance company eventually decided it would be in the best interests of all involved to settle the case and avoid a lengthy and costly trial.
We successfully negotiated a $3 million settlement on behalf of the family of the deceased victims. The terms of the settlement required that all parties involved in the settlement remain anonymous.
