Two Hospitalized in Rollover Crash near Ellensburg

A rollover accident on Interstate 90 Wednesday injured two people from Kent, according to reports from the Washington State Patrol (WSP).

According to the WSP’s news release, 75-year-old Heijiro Komura was driving a 1995 Toyota Camry westbound on I-90 at approximately 8:45 p.m. Wednesday when the car exited the roadway and began to roll. The vehicle reportedly came to rest on its wheels in the eastbound lane, resulting in a total loss of the vehicle.

The 75-year-old Komura was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, indicating that injuries may have been serious. The passenger in the vehicle, identified as 67-year-old Yoshiko Komura, was also injured and taken to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital in Ellensburg.
