An 83-year-old man has passed from the injuries he suffered in a car accident on Highway 14 near Stevenson Saturday, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
A news release from the WSP says the man, identified as an 83-year-old from Vancouver, was riding as a passenger in a Toyota Camry driven by a 49-year-old Vancouver woman, when a man driving a Toyota pickup tried to pass some vehicles in front of him. The Toyota crashed into Marsh’s Camry and pushed it off the highway and down an embankment, killing Egger.
The driver of the pickup and his passenger were treated at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and released, according to the WSP. Both vehicles were totaled in the crash and the WSP says the crash is still under investigation and charges are pending.
