The three people extracted were all taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries according to reports.
Speeding Vehicle Collisions
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) speed is involved in 26 percent of all traffic fatalities.
Thankfully at this time it does not appear that those involved suffered any life-threatening injuries in this accident.
If reports indicating one car driving at a high rate of speed caused the electrical work truck to strike the third vehicle are accurate, the driver of the speeding car could be held liable for damages for both vehicles.
Tumwater police have not announced at this time whether drugs, alcohol, or other contributory forms of negligence were involved.
