Seattle’s public transit earned a total score of 77.97, narrowly beating out Boston with a 77.84, followed by San Francisco, Washington DC, and Madison Wisconsin.
Seattle boasted the 3rd shortest average commute time as opposed to being tied with Chicago for the most annual hours spent in congestion per auto commuter, only better than Washington DC and Boston.
Seattle’s fleet of busses also boasts the 5th lowest average lifetime miles in active vehicles and according to KOMO reporting ranked 8th in fewest public transit injuries.
