Legal Options For Pedestrian Accident Victims
After a pedestrian is struck by a vehicle, there is often a long and painful road to physical recovery ahead of them as they overcome any number of potentially serious injuries.
With no details from the responding officers at this time, we cannot know the scenario that lead to this collision, which could drastically change the landscape of a potential personal injury claim from it.
Regardless of the specific circumstances of this crash, any accident victim who believes they may have a personal injury claim on their hands can always start by ordering the police report for their accident if one exists.
These reports contain valuable information like photographs from the scene of the accident the officer's notes from the scene, and potential witness statements that would build the basis for any eventual claim against an at-fault driver.
Gathering information and conducting your own investigation is invaluable for personal injury claims to achieve the best results possible as police reports will not uncover all relevant details for your claim.
