Motorcycle Strikes Pedestrian in Kent

A pedestrian was killed tragically in Kent, WA after being struck by a motorcycle while crossing Pacific Highway South on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.

According to the King County Medical Examiner's Office the man was William L. Smith.  Apparently Smith was attempting to cross in the 23400 block of Pacific Highway South on the West Hill, just south of the Kent Des Moines Road intersection when a southbound motorcycle shit him. Although paramedics worked to revive the Mr. Smith they were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
