Updated on: 11/7/2019

Honda auto recall airbagsThere are 304,000 Honda vehicles being recalled around the world for problems with air-bags. It is reported that the air-bags may inflate too much pressure in a collision. The over inflation is causing injuries and deaths due to the metal and plastic pieces disbursing.

In 2009 in the United States, there have been 20 collisions that are related to the issue including two fatalities. The recall affects the Accord, Civic, Odyssey, Pilot, CR-V and other models that are manufactured in 2001 and 2002. There are a total of 2 million vehicles worldwide that are being affected by the recall.

Honda apologizes for the problem and that the recall will take care of the issue.
