Auburn Friday afternoon, injuring multiple students on board.
A school bus carrying an unidentified number of students crashed near the 28900 block of 51st Avenue South inAccording to news reports, the crash occurred just before 3 p.m. Friday on 51st Ave, east of Interstate 5 but west of SR 167. Based on aerial footage captured by news crews, it appeared that the school bus had left the roadway and was trapped in a ditch on the side of the road.

First responders, including medics and firefighters, were spotted on the scene immediately after the collision was reported. It appeared as though some passengers from the bus were being loaded into ambulances via a stretcher.
Troopers said that the school bus, which belongs to the Federal Way School District’s fleet, unexpectedly left the roadway while traveling on 51st Ave and struck a power pole. Three students were on board the bus at the time of the incident. Although none of the passengers suffered serious injuries in this school bus collision, an unidentified number of students were transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment of injuries.
There was no additional information available regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident or what may have caused the school bus to leave the roadway. It was also unclear whether there were any additional vehicles involved.
