Getting Money After a T-Bone Car Accident
If you’re the victim of a T-bone accident and are planning to pursue a personal injury case against the driver who caused your accident, you’ll have to prove the liability of the driver. Liability is the term used to assign fault or responsibility to the person that you believed caused the accident.
To recover money, or “damages” in a personal injury case, your attorney and their legal team will be responsible for proving these three things.
- That the driver acted negligently.
- That the negligent behavior caused your accident.
- That your accident caused your injuries.
If you can prove liability, then you may be entitled to damages.
Types of damages that may be awarded in a T-bone collision personal injury case include the following.
- Medical bills
- Pain and suffering
- Lost earnings
- Damages to property
