Mischelle Gets MADD at Drunk Driver Mark Mullan
Everyone at Davis Law Group is proud of our very own operations manager Mischelle Davis for all of the work that she does to support Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) in Washington State. Today she appeared LIVE on 'The Conversation' with Ross Reynolds on NPR member station KUOW in Seattle. Davis was joined by Representative Roger Goodman and author Barron Lerner as they discussed the questions "Should Washington Get Tougher on DUIs?"
The segment was in direct response to information that has come to light regarding the drunk driving history of repeat offender Mark Mullan. Mullan killed Dennis and Judith Schulte and severely injured to Karina Ulriksen-Schulte and her infant son when he chose to drive drunk and then crashed into them in a crosswalk in Seattle's Wedgewood neighborhood earlier this week.
After the interview Mischelle told us that although she is happy that any and all media coverage about such tragedies helps to raise awareness about the drunk driving problem in our state, she is disappointed that there have not been more stories that focus on the victims of this tragedy and how their lives will be changed because of this horrible crime.
