An elderly man crashed his vehicle into the side of the TVW studios building in Olympia Wednesday afternoon. It is unclear what caused the accident, but the man reportedly crossed through a parking lot and struck a number of other vehicles before crashing into the side of the building.
The car was left hanging above an alleyway and emergency crews had to find a way to safely remove the man from the damaged vehicle. The man was eventually able to leave the scene under his own power, and no one in the building was injured as a result.
TVW is Washington State’s public affairs network that covers state government and other issues.
