Infant Hospitalized, Mother Jailed Following Domestic Dispute

Updated on: 7/8/2020

A six-month-old baby had to be hospitalized Tuesday after a domestic dispute in the Bellingham family’s home caused the child to be injured, police said. According to charging documents, 42-year-old Tami Olson had been drinking and woke up to find a woman, who is a relative of the child’s father, holding the six-month-old.

Olson became extremely upset that the other woman was holding her child and began assaulting her. The father stepped in and took the child from Olson and she immediately began assaulting him. A police spokesperson said that Olson’s aggressive behavior continued after she was arrested.
