FREE MADD Power Of Parents Training

What:   Free facilitator training in Power of Parents, It’s Your InfluenceTM  - Power of Parents is a parent initiative developed by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
Why:   Learn how to make 30-minute presentations about underage drinking prevention to parents.
When:  Friday, February 17, 2012, 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Where: Garfield Teen Life Center, 428 23rd Avenue, Seattle WA  98122

The presenter is Jackie Berganio, Program Manager/Community Coordinator, King County Mental Health, Chemical Abuse and Dependency Services Division’s Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Program.

Participants in the facilitator training will receive Power of Parents materials, including a manual and the PowerPoint presentation. After becoming a certified trainer, facilitators can then use those materials to make presentations to parent groups such as PTAs.
