A 75-year-old woman was struck and killed by a truck Friday afternoon on Cleveland Avenue in Tumwater, according to police.
The incident occurred in the 3800 block of Cleveland Avenue Southeast near Custer Way Southeast around 11:30 a.m. The woman was found dead at the scene. Police have not made any other information about the victim available.
Police reports suggest that the male driver of the truck may have experienced a medical emergency.
The driver of the truck was cooperating with officers.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Washington State Patrol is assisting Tumwater Police with the investigation.
Cleveland Avenue was closed from Custer Way to Primrose Street.
