A three-vehicle crash on State Route 3 – which appears to involve a beer delivery truck – left one person dead Tuesday morning north of Poulsbo, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The Kitsap County Fire Department took video from the scene, which shows what appears to be a disabled Bud Light truck on the side of the road.

State Patrol says three vehicles crashed at about 6:40 a.m. near the Pioneer Way intersection at Lofall Road. The road is currently blocked, and traffic is being diverted at Big Valley Road, south of the Hood Canal Bridge.

The crash is still under investigation. No further details are known at this time.

Hire A Lawyer After A Truck Accident

When you're in the process of deciding whether or not to hire an attorney after an accident involving a large truck or commercial vehicle, experience matters. The trucking company, particularly large corporations, are backed by high-priced lawyers. When so much is on the line and damages are high, it's best to trust you and your family's well-being to an experienced trucking accident lawyer.

The sooner you hire a trucking accident attorney, the better. Time is of the essence after these accidents, as crucial evidence needs to be secured from the scene. Marks on the pavement can fade over time, and vehicles can be removed and repaired before damage is accounted for. Essentially, if you wait to hire an attorney the trucking company gains a significant advantage.

Cases involving commercial vehicles, delivery vehicles and trucking companies are often extremely complex and involve multiple parties. Determining liability is key. Multiple parties may be liable, including the truck driver, the truck manufacturer, the truck's owner, the trucking company, the manufacturer of the parts, or the owner of the truck's cargo.

In these cases, your trucking accident attorney is also able to pinpoint the deadlines and federal trucking regulations that apply to the incident. Knowing the ins and outs of these laws could make all the difference.
