An elderly man crossing the street using a motorized scooter in Everett was struck by a Jeep and hospitalized Tuesday morning.
The man, in his 70's was crossing at a marked crosswalk when a jeep wrangler struck him, lodging the wheelchair under the front bumper of the vehicle, and injuring him.
It does not appear the man hit suffered life threatening injuries but was transported to the hospital in an ambulance.
The driver of the Jeep is cooperating with investigators as they work to understand what caused the collision, considering weather among other factors.
