A pedestrian accident in Seattle left an 85-year-old woman with life-threatening injuries and a trip to the hospital Sunday evening.
According to Seattle police, the woman was crossing 3rd Avenue NW near NW 132nd Street at around 5:30 p.m. Sunday when a Saab station wagon driving northbound on 3rd Avenue NW struck her. The woman was reportedly treated at the scene of the pedestrian accident and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where her latest condition is currently unknown.
The 57-year-old man who was driving the Saab station wagon remained on the scene of the accident and was questioned by police. According to Q13 Fox News, police did not believe the man was under the influence of drugs or alcohol and the accident remains under investigation.
