 Two vehicles crash near Arlington, one woman dead
A woman is dead and a man is in the hospital after a two-vehicle car crash near Arlington on Friday evening. According to investigators, the crash began when the man lost control of his vehicle while driving eastbound on Highway 530; he crossed the center line and struck the woman’s vehicle, which was heading westbound.

Spokane man arrested for causing fatal crash
A 29-year-old man has been arrested for his involvement in a crash that killed one person and seriously injured two others on Saturday night. Police suspect that Ramiro Sanchez was under the influence when he slammed into a car carrying two high school students. The passenger in Sanchez’s car was also injured in the collision.

Fatal one car crash in Sequim
A 51-year-old man died in a one vehicle crash early Sunday morning near Sequim. He was found unconscious in the wreckage of his car, which had crashed into a high-voltage power pole. He died soon after arriving at Harborview Medical Center. Investigators believe that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

4-year-old hit by car in Tacoma
A 4-year-old girl who was hit by a car in Tacoma is doing well, family members say. The young girl was crossing the street when she was hit by a speeding vehicle. "It's a blessing. It's a miracle that she didn't actually get ran over," said her father. "When the car hit her, it actually knocked her 20 feet rather than actually toppling over her. And they say that saved her life."

Teenager dies in one car crash near Lake Sammamish
A 16-year-old girl died on Monday when the SUV she was driving broke through a guardrail, fell down an embankment, and burst into flames after hitting a tree. King County Search and Rescue searched the area near the crash and did not see any indications that there were any passengers in the vehicle.

Motorcyclist dies in Renton crash
A motorcyclist was struck and dragged 241 feet by an SUV in Renton on Tuesday. He died at the scene. Police closed a portion of State Route 169 for several hours to investigate the circumstances of the crash.

Ride the Ducks involved in another crash
A Ride the Ducks vehicle was involved in a collision on Thursday afternoon in downtown Seattle. No injuries were reported, but the crash caused traffic backups on surrounding roads.

Jackknifed semi-truck stops traffic in Mount Baker Tunnel
Commuter traffic stalled in the Mount Baker Tunnel on Thursday evening after a semi-truck jackknifed in the westbound tunnel. After an hour, a tow truck was able to remove the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
