A 15-year-old boy led police on a 45-mile chase on Interstate 5 at speeds of more than 100 mph and has been arrested. The Woodland, Washington resident was spotted by California Highway Patrol troopers in a 1991 Geo Metro. Troops attempted to stop him as he crossed into Oregon going faster than 100 mph.
The boy was then being chased by Oregon State Police. The officers put out a spike strip but he managed to avoid it and keeping speeding down the interstate.
They used another spike strip miles ahead and it worked, popping one of his tires. He drove for another 3 miles and then pulled over.

He taken into custody immediately. The 15-year-old is currently being held for investigation of attempting to elude and reckless driving.
It is reported that the vehicle he was driving was his sister’s car.
