PRESS RELEASE: Davis Law Group joins WSAJ & NW Harvest for Food Drive

Posted on May 05, 2010

May 5, 2010- Seattle, WA--Davis Law Group is joining the fight against hunger in Washington State  by joining forces with the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) and Northwest Harvest through its participation in the annual “Fight For Justice, Fight Against Hunger” food drive.

The food drive will be active from May 6 through May 21st. We welcome and encourage all of former, current, and potential clients as well as our many business partners to participate with us in our fight against hunger. The donation box will be located in the foyer area at our main office located at 2101 4th Avenue, Suite 630.

If donating canned or dry foods does not appeal to you, Northwest Harvest also encourages cash donations, which allow them to buy food in bulk. For example, Northwest Harvest can feed a family of three a balanced, nutritious meal for only 67 cents!  That means a gift of $100 to Northwest Harvest can provide a family of three with 149 meals.

There are so many families in need of some extra help in our community. If we all give a small amount to help our community, we can help produce major results.  Some suggested foods for donation are canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, pasta, peanut butter, chili, canned or powered milk, ramen noodles, soup, and infant formula.

If you have any questions, would like more information, or are interesting in making a donation to the  “Fight For Justice, Fight Against Hunger” food drive please contact Scott Breitbach at [email protected] or 206.727.4000.
