A 31-year-old man from Moses Lake was critically injured in a Sunday afternoon motorcycle crash 10 miles west of Cle Elum on Interstate 90.
Kenneth Glen Kern was heading east on his motorcycle when the collision occurred around noon at milepost 74.
Kern was following another vehicle too closely when he slammed on the brakes, causing the bike the crash, state the Washington State Patrol.
Ken was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of facial lacerations.
He was wearing a helmet during the time of the crash and neither drugs nor alcohol was involved in the accident.
