  • Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 911 call at 1:59am, Monday.
  • Collision occurred at 151 Stewart Road, Pacific, WA.
  • Police arrested a 29 year old Sumner man.
  • The Sumner man showed signs of intoxication.
Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to a head-on collision that occurred at 151 Stewart Road in Pacific on Monday at 1:59am. Police arrested a Sumner man at the scene that showed signs of intoxication and admitted he had been drinking.

The suspect was driving a 1997 Ford F-350 west on Stewart Road. He crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2000 Toyota Echo killing Samuel Lee Stephens, a 24 year old man from Graham, driver of the Toyota Echo.
