A 73-year-old woman was walking with a friend Thursday morning around 8 a.m. when she was struck and killed by a commercial truck on Harbour Pointe Boulevard.
She was hit by the 12-wheel flatbed truck near the intersection of Harbor Pointe and Blue Heron Boulevard.
The woman, who was a Mukilteo resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The affected area where the crash took place was restricted while officers investigated the scene. The truck driver remained at the scene and was very cooperative with the officers.
The name of the deceased woman has not been released to the general public. The woman that the victim was walking with was uninjured in the crash. The truck driver also did not sustain any injuries.
