Bellevue Bride Arrested for Drunk Drivin Just Hours Before her Wedding

According to Washington State Patrol, a 31 year old woman who was due to be married within hours was arrested for DUI in Bellevue on Saturday.  The would-be-bride was stopped just after 6 a.m. by a Washington State Patrol Trooper.  She had been weaving in and our of her lane and driving at speds in excess of 90 MPH on northbound Interstate 405 near N.E. 8th street.  She told the state trooper that stopped her that she was heading home from her bachelorette party in Issaquah.  Apparently she was scheduled to get married in Burien later that day.  She admitted that she had been arrested once before for DUI.  Her BAC level was .146, nearly twice the legal limit in Washington.  She will face charges in King County District Court.

Luckily there was no accident and no one was hurt.
