Washington State Bar Association (WSBA). The WSBA
regulates the legal profession in Washington State. You
will find information about being admitted to practice
law in Washington, the licensing and continuing legal
education requirements for lawyers, and information
about the lawyer discipline process.

King County Bar Association. A very useful site
that provides information on community legal services,
attorney referral list, volunteer attorneys, etc. You
can also search state laws (Revised Code of Washington),
local ordinances, court rules and court opinions on the
KCBA Web Reference Library.

Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA).
Washington state's leading professional organization for
plaintiff trial attorneys. WSTLA provides very useful
information to consumers and takes enormous efforts to
protect the rights of injured persons who reside in
Washington state.

Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA).
Has a useful "Keep Our Families Safe" Web site,
dedicated to providing parents, children and others a
wealth of information about the issues that affect their
lives. The site also has access to helpful consumer news
and safety tips and a forum in which visitors can share
their own knowledge and cases.

Washington Appellate Court Opinions. View and
download recent appellate decisions on line for free. No
need to go to the law library when it's at your
fingertips!

Attorney General of Washington Consumer Division.
This site is maintained by the Washington Attorney
General's Office and offers practical information,
advice, and statutory references for many common
consumer problems, such as: Auto Repair, Buying or
Leasing Cars, Lemon Law, Credit (Credit Reports,
Collection, Repossession, and More), Travel, Pyramid
Schemes, Consumer Disputes (including information about
Small Claims Court), Credit (Credit Reports, Collection,
Repossession, and More), Cancellation Rights, Unwanted
Mail, Camping Clubs, and information on the first law
prohibiting junk E-Mail (Spam).
King County Superior Court Clerk's Office. A very
valuable site for anyone that is involved in a lawsuit
filed in King County. The site has downloadable
information, including forms and local court rules. This
site also has a short message from Roger Winters, the
Manager of King County Superior Court's Electronic Court
Records Program.

Pierce County Legal Information Network Exchange.
This site provides links to law-related Pierce County
sites, including Pierce County Superior Court, the
Superior Court Criminal and Civil Calendars, Superior
Court Forms, and links to the Prosecutor's Office, the
Department of Assigned Counsel, District Court, and
more.

Snohomish County Superior Court. Provides useful
information about this Superior Court including maps,
telephone numbers, employment information, most
frequently asked questions, and "quick information" on a
variety of subjects (e.g., domestic violence, permits,

Thurston County Superior Court. This site is also
still under construction, but provides e-mail access,
brief biographies of the Judges, as well as addresses
and phone numbers of the Judges and staff, and an
on-line version of the Local Rules.

United States District Court for the Western District
of Washington. This site has forms you can download,
a database of recently filed civil cases providing case
information you can search by date filed or party name.
There are also maps, information about mediators
organized by type of case or mediator profile
(alphabetically organized), Local Rules, and Discovery &
Pretrial Procedures in the Western District of
Washington, among otheritems of interest. Access to the
United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District
of Washington is also available.

Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Official Home Page.
Provides access to Ninth Circuit opinions (dating to
June 1995). FindLaw's Ninth Circuit Opinions page goes
back to 1990, and is equally searchable.

Commissioner. The Commissioner's Office regulates
the insurance industry in Washington State. Do you want
information on how to file a complaint against an
