Lawyers Associating With or Referring Cases To Davis Law Group
Are you a lawyer with a case that you wish to associate with or refer to Davis Law Group? We regularly receive referrals and requests to associate on cases from attorneys who are located in and outside the state of Washington. There are many reasons why a lawyer may wish to associate and/or refer a case to Davis Law Group:

You may wish to refer a case to a lawyer like Chris Davis who has a successful track record; 3. You may not have the financial resources that are necessary to properly work up and prepare the case for resolution; 4. You may be a lawyer who practices in another state and therefore need a good lawyer in Washington State to handle the case; 5. You may be an out of state lawyer who has a case in Washington State and need a good lawyer like Chris Davis to appear as the local attorney of record; 6. You simply want the client to get the best result possible and Chris Davis is the lawyer who can get the job done.
Attorney Chris Davis frequently acts as a resource for other lawyers. He regularly spends his time providing advice about legal strategy to other lawyers across the country. Mr. Davis also acts as local counsel for cases filed or pursued by out of state lawyers in Washington State. He often participates as co-counsel with other local lawyers in many different serious accident cases, including those involving wrongful death.
You should know that Davis Law Group engages in various fee sharing and work division arrangements as needed and depending on the parties involved. You should know that Davis Law Group is obligated to comply with Washington State's ethical rule about the division of fees. Please refer to Washington's fee sharing rule RPC 1.5(e), which states:
A division of a fee between lawyers who are not in the same firm may be made only if:
(1) (i) the division is in proportion to the services provided by each lawyer or each lawyer assumes joint responsibility for the representation;
(ii) the client agrees to the arrangement, including the share each lawyer will receive, and the agreement is confirmed in writing; and
(iii) the total fee is reasonable; or
(2) the division is between the lawyer and a duly authorized lawyer referral service of either the Washington State Bar Association or of one of the county bar associations of this state.
