Kathy Saxon Nominated for $100 Award by Former 6th Grade Student

Davis Law Group, P.S., a Seattle-based law firm, in partnership with OfficeMax, is pleased to announce that Kathy Saxon is a recipient of the Davis Law Group School Supplies Gift Program. Ms. Saxon is a 6th grade teacher at Denny International Middle School.

Ms. Saxon was nominated for this award by a former student Casey. Casey describes Ms. Saxon as an amazing and caring teacher.

“What makes her extraordinary is that she cares a lot about how her students do academically, as well as outside of school,” Casey said.

Ms. Saxon puts in extra hours at school to help her students before and after class. Aside from her teaching commitment, she also manages to run the yearbook group, which is a high stress project with many deadlines.
Each year, Ms. Saxon purchases new books with her own money, so that her students are excited to read. She also spends money on storage containers to keep her room neat.

“Not many teachers are as cool as Ms. Saxon,” Casey said. “She is an amazing teacher all around.”

The Davis Law Group School Supplies Gift Program gives a $100 OfficeMax gift card each week to a deserving Washington State Public school teacher and his/her class. Anyone can nominate a teacher for this program, teachers, and students, parents, and administrators.
