$300,000 Settement for Low Back Disc Protrusion

A 56 year old man was rear ended by another driver at 50 mph.  The collision caused massive damage to the vehicles.  He received neck and back injuries. The low back persisted.  An MRI scan showed a disc protrusion at L5-S1.  The man had a prior back injury six years earlier.  His medical bills exceeded $60,000.  The case settled six months before trial for the other driver's policy limits.
