What Can You Do After Child Wrongful Death?
While there is nothing that you can do to bring your child back, there are many reasons to take action and talk to an experienced wrongful death attorney about your options. Many families want justice after someone’s negligence took their loved one. It is important for the company or individual at fault to know that they were negligent and to be held accountable for their mistakes. Another aspect of wrongful death is the financial struggle you may face after the fact. Between medical bills, therapy, funeral costs and more, you may see great expenses. These should not be finances that you are responsible for. Third, you may wish to be compensated for the child’s pain and suffering, and your own anguish as the result of your child’s death. The most important action that parents want to take – ensure that the terrible tragedy that took their child will never happen to another family.
