Yakima Girl Injured In Crosswalk Accident l Washington Accident Lawyer

Ten-year-old Veronica Gonzalez’s was hit by a car while crossing the street.  She is in serious condition and has been taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.  Apparently the driver of a 2002 Ford Ranger ran a red light and drove through a crosswalk.  Gonzalez and her two sisters were in the crosswalk at the time.  Police believe that the driver, David Gotzh of Yakima, was facing east and the rising sun obstructed his view preventing him from seeing the red light.  The investigation is ongoing.
