Yakima Girl Hit by Pickup l Lawyers in Washington State

A female minor was injured after being hit by a pickup truck in Sunnyside, near Yakima Monday morning around 7 a.m.  The girl was flown to Harborview Medical Center. 

The girl had two boys walking with her at the time of the accident.  The boys were not seriously hurt but did sustain minor injuries. 

According to police, the driver who hit and injured the children was driving east and did not see them crossing the highway due to the sun in his eyes.

Our heart goes out to the families involved in this incident and we wish for a rapid recovery for all who were injured.
According to the Washington Traffic Safety Commission, in Washington State alone, anywhere between 10 and 15 children who die in car accidents were pedestrians.
