On Tuesday June 21, a Washington State Patrol Trooper driving on a motorcycle crashed on State Route 9. The highway was closed due to the accident.
The trooper, 41, was traveling southbound on his
motorcycle when he smashed into the back of a minivan. The cause of the car accident is still unknown.
The trooper suffered from broken ribs, a back injury, facial injuries and various other injuries. He was transported to Everett Hospital then taken to Harborview Medical Center where he is in intensive care. The trooper has been with the Washington State Patrol for 20 years.
The
motorcycle accident is still under investigation.
