A 24-year-old Edmonds man riding a motorcycle was injured early Friday morning when he was hit by a wrong-way driver.
The crash happened at about 12:40 a.m. in the Battery Street tunnel, Seattle police spokeswoman Renee Witt said.
Police said a 43-year-old man driving an SUV was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of the tunnel when he struck the motorcyclist. After hitting the motorcycle, the SUV driver continued on, but was located and stopped by police officers, Witt said.
Officers arrested the SUV driver on suspicion of driving drunk.
