Woman Run Over by Tractor Suffers Head Injury




A woman was critically injured when a tractor ran her head over as the driver was mowing 4-foot-tall grass in a field.

The 23-year-old woman Joanna Herron, was lying face down, with the hood of her sweatshirt up and a music player beside her. Police say that she may have been listening to music and did not hear the tractor.

It was reported that Herron was in critical condition with head injuries. It appears that one or both of the tractor’s left side tires hit the woman’s head.

Police say the tractor driver is not being investigated for any criminal charges because he could not have seen the woman in the tall grass.
