A woman was injured in a collision near Everett on Thursday night.Around 6:30 p.m. a 20-year-old woman was driving her Volkswagon Beetle northbound on Interstate 5 near Everett Mall Way when the hood flew up, blocked her view, and caused her to swerve into the carpool lane. Her vehicle was struck twice by a First Transit bus.
The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. No one on the bus was injured.
Washington State Patrol is investigating the accident.
