DESCRIPTION: On Wednesday night, a woman who was clearing a dead deer from Highway 6 west of Lebam was she was struck by the mirror of a passing vehicle and suffered head injuries and had to be airlifted to Tacoma General Hospital. The roadway was closed for over 4 hours and the driver who hit her was not cited.
