Woman from Walla Walla Killed in Crash l Washington Accident Attorney

Tammy J. Avila, 30, of Walla Walla died Sunday morning when the Dodge Neon she was in struck a power pole at Highway 12 and Hussey Street in Walla Walla.  It is reported that she was not wearing a seatbelt. Avila died at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the car, Ronald H. Mitchell Jr., 20, of Milton-Freewater, and another passenger, Angela M. Phillips, 30, of Walla Walla, were transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla.

The cause of the accident still is being investigated.
