At about 5 a.m. on South Lake Stevens road early Monday morning, a 22 year old woman driving an
SUV crashed into another vehicle. Reportedly driving a stolen car and attempting to escape from the police, the woman sped into another car after spotting the police. Both drivers suffered non-life threatening injuries and were sent to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
The stolen SUV driver also allegedly had been stealing license plates from cars, and the SUV had a different car’s stolen plates on them Monday. After treatment at the Providence Medical Center, the woman was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for auto theft, pending investigations of her involvement in further crimes.
